What is Character? Loyalty Integrity Inspiring Respect Courageous Inherent set of complex attributes that determine a person’s moral and ethical actions and reactions. Inspiring Respect Courageous Honesty

Ethics Standards of right and wrong that influence behavior Not always a clear cut decision Organizations are not ethical or unethical- individuals are Typically if you hide decisions- they are unethical

Leadership Ethical leadership influences followers practices Being ethical is part of having integrity or trustworthiness When you lose trust, productivity will decrease overall

Making Ethical Decisions The 4 Way Test: 4 Simple Questions Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build good will? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? If the answer is Yes- most likely a good decision.
