Judges Who is going to speak to the class when something must be stated? Determine if all judges get to make decisions during the proceedings. Research what judges do during a court proceeding and TAKE NOTES on page 55. Research cases where customers were hurt at other department stores. What happened in those cases? TAKE NOTES Research and try to find a similar case TAKE NOTES Research when it is okay for a lawyer to object or not

Jurors Pick a head juror. This person will be your spokesperson for the group. Do some research about what jurors do during court cases. Discuss how you will go about being a proper juror Research proper clothing to wear to court Take notes on page 55.

Lawyers for Lionel Take notes on page 55. What is your best defense? Look at everyone’s green packet and decide how to defend Lionel. Write several questions you can ask him which will help prove your argument to the jury. Who else can you ask questions? His wife? The ER doctor?
