INSIPID Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Extension for logging and debugging (draft-kaithal-dispatch-sip-log-information-00 ) March 26th 2012 IETF -83 meeting Authors: Adarsh Kaithal, Sandeep. K S Presenter: R Parthasarathi

Agenda To discuss the Log-Me header use case along with Session-id Next Step

Log-me Header intention Intention is to log SIPCLF messages in all SIP devices during the session SIPCLF with session-id (dialog-id) will serve the purpose to collect the session in all the SIP devices “Log-me” header is used to enable the logging mechanism in each SIP devices dynamically.

Next steps Request for Considering “Log-me” logging requirement as a usecase for INSIPID (Session-id) solution.
