Bird and Bat houses Mrs. Martin/ Mrs. Werden 3rd Hour Watershed Project

How it Helps the Environment/Watershed Helps by providing habitats for birds and bats Offers protection from predators Pollination properties Adds diversity to the area.

Reasons we picked this topic. First and second hour are doing pollinator gardens and we decided to think outside the box. We built habitats for birds and bats. It helps keep the pain in the butt mosquito population down. Provides a safe environment for birds and bats.

How we accomplished the project Provided everyone with a job. Raised money to buy a bat house. Got donations for the bird houses. We accomplished this in a organized manner.

Special thanks to…- Paul Aggeler and Preston Feather for the cedar boards. Tip of the Mitt Watershed- Maria and Eli
