Observations of NABARD Initial Corpus of Rs. 5000 cr outside RIDF Loans to State under tripartite MOA Loan for 7 years with 2 years moratorium for principal Lending rate at par with RIDF or LTIF or as decided by GOI/state Funds to be mobilised from market Interest subvention by GoI – to address shortfall and margin of NABARD @0.6% Eligible activities to be decided by GoI/State

Observations of States Maharashtra Proposed to use the fund for interest subvention for MI in sugarcane area Target to cover 3 lakh ha in 2 years with estimated requirement of Rs. 1300 Cr in Ist year CSS will cover the remaining crops Rajasthan To meet interest subvention @8% for MI, Ist yr requirement is Rs. 480 crore for 2017-18 With composite funding of Diggie and MI, interest subvention requirement is about Rs1000 Cr for 2017-18
