Role & Responsibility of the Contractor (s) Implement Quality Control System in following Sequence Compliant testing for materials including laboratory trials, Compliant testing for methods and equipment prior to the commencement of the work, including site trials or trials sections, Control testing during construction Acceptant testing on completed works or parts of the works.
Role & Responsibility of the Contractor (s) To get approval of the test results for verification and certification before submitting materials and/or finished works to the Engineer for approval in accordance with this Specification. In overall the Contractor is responsible produce Agreed “Quality Product” having approved Workmanship, Material Quality and Production Quality as per Condition of the Contract and Specifications
Continue Role & Responsibility of the Contractor (s) Key to All The Process Responsibility of the Contractor is to use the “ Program/Request for Inspection” as per Sequence of Works/Methodology for Works
Role & Responsibility of the Consultants Approve contractors quality management plan, work program, method statements, material sources, manpower and equipment deployment etc.: Ensure at all times the Contractor works in strict compliance with the Contractor's quality management plan, work plan, and contract specification, including instruction issued as per contract and non‑compliance notifications; Provide all necessary setting out data to the civil work contractors and ensuring correctness of the setting out at field
Role & Responsibility of the Consultants Provide all necessary setting out data to the civil work contractors and ensuring correctness of the setting out at field; Review the Contractor's organizational arrangements, key personnel and work plan, materials and their sources; Monitor progress of works against baseline work plan and advise on measures to be taken to improve progress and quality;
Role & Responsibility of the Consultants Approve and/or issue working drawings and issuing instructions to the contractor as required in accordance with the contract specifications and Contractor's quality management plan; Supervise the Contractor in all matters concerning safety and care of civil works including provision of necessary lights, guardrails, fencing and security; Make measurements and keep measurement records; Maintain records, correspondence and diaries;
Role & Responsibility of the Consultants Advise the Employers Representative on all matters relating to the execution of the works including quality; and assist the Representative with processing the contractor's possible claims and disputes; Inspect the works at appropriate intervals during the defects liability period Check and certify as‑built drawings for the works prepared by the contractors; Comply with the Employer's Auditor General's requirements.
Role & Responsibility of the Consultant (s) In overall, the Consultant is responsible for Construction supervision and contract administration for the proposed project ensuring full compliance with the designs and specifications; Organize Routine Site Meeting for Quality Review Extreme Cases Undertake independent materials testing when considered necessary Issue and sign notice of non-conformance to record the defects
Role & Responsibility of the Employer :Informal Keep record of approved Program of the Work and Quality Assurance Plan Keep thorough understanding of Project Quality Management Plan submitted by the Contractors Prepare Plan for Site Visit w.r. to (a) Program of the Works, (b) Project Quality Management Plan Attain Routine site Meeting Check Certificates of Calibration of Lab Equipments periodically during site visit
Role & Responsibility of the Employer: Informal Attain all trial tests of the works Facilitate in opening the Quarry by the Contractors Be attentive to control illegal quarrying from within the RoW Periodically visit Quarry site and check quarry extraction by the Contractor in terms of (a) environment and (b) safeguard Be attentive on quality/ standard/ age of the equipments under use by the Contractor
Role & Responsibility of the Employer: Informal Be attentive to the public voice on quality of the constriction Visit production site of base materials such as (a) base course, (b) chips aggregates, (c.) concrete aggregate and (d) sub-base production etc. Frequently request to check the Program for Inspection sheet (completed one) Visit the constriction site at the time of work progress particularly during (a) base laying, (b) DBST/Ottaseal works and (c.) concrete work etc
Role & Responsibility of the Employer: Formal Approve Bill (IPC) submitted by the Contractor and recommended by the Consultant if attached with certified Lab test results and summary sheet of QAP monitored. Attained Management Meeting with Consultant and Contractor at the site every month. Review Progress Review Quality Issues Review up-dated Program of the Works/QAP Make site visit for checking workmanship visually Review Record of Non-conformamce
Role & Responsibility of the Employer: Formal Attain Public Hearing Address Public Grievance with consultation with the Consultant and the Contractor Review Non-conformance Reports and instruct the Consultant to strictly adhere with SS Section 1200, sub-clause 9b which stated that: “ any materials or workmanship that do not comply with the specified requirements shall be replaced with materials and /or workmanship complying with specifications or be replaced to comply with the specified requirements”
Role and Responsibility of the Technical Auditor The foremost duty and responsibility of the Technical Auditor is enforce “ Standard Specification Section 1201, sub-clause 9b.”
