Avoiding Injuries

10 Most Common Causes of Training Injury Incorrect Technique- This is the most common cause of weight training injury Too much weight- This is when you have to jerk or heave weight to lift it. Bad Spotting- A spotter needs to always be alert to the possibility of failure…not looking around or joking with friends.

10 Most Common Causes of Training Injury Incorrect form while lifting –this can put a lifter out of their safety zone Training too often- You can not grow when you over train. Not Stretching- stretching helps elongate a muscle after warm-up and weight training. Inadequate warm up- You should do a high rep, low intensity quick paced exercise to increase blood flow to the muscles.

10 Most Common Causes of Training Injury Negatives- eccentric. Or lowering the weight. The most difficult. Poor Training - If you under eat and continue to train hard, you are likely to get hurt. Lack of concentration - If you are distracted, preoccupied, or lackadaisical when you work out, you are inviting injury.
