Title of Your Poster Introduction Research Conclusions Acknowledgments Your Name1, Mentor Name2+ 1Your Affiliation. 2Linac Coherent Light Source, SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, 2575 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA. +Contact: your.mentor@slac.stanford.edu Introduction Please email your poster to Anna Balmori (balmori@slac.stanford.edu) in ppt format. Let her know whether your poster can be or cannot be posted on a public website. Your project may contain sensitive information. Consult with your mentor. The posters will be printed for you on a 36 inch (width) paper. There will be prizes for best posters. Work on your presentation. Imagine yourself explaining your work to a fellow intern. Consider including a flow diagram, so you can guide your audience through the various steps of your project during the poster session. Remember to not get too technical here. You will only have few minutes with your audience before the he/she moves onto the next poster. This section should include information that will engage your audiences. You should briefly describe in 5-6 sentences what the project is about, why it is important, and what you set out to accomplish. You should provide keywords to make it easier for people to search your work. Keywords: Poster writing, interns, template Research This section describes your body of work. If your audience is reading this section, then your introduction must have been really good. Well done! Fig 1. Description of the figure above. Publication quality images must be at least 300 dpi. Vector image format, such as PNG or EPS, resizes better compared to JPEG. Conclusions This section should summarize the work you have done in 3-4 sentences. You may wish to comment on what could have been done better, and your thoughts on future work. Acknowledgments Use of the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS), SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, is supported by the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Science, Office of Basic Energy Sciences under Contract No. DE-AC02-76SF00515.
