Please do not wear jewelry on these days.

Welcome to the 21st Century Each 5th Grade Student has or will receive a laptop. This laptop will remain in school and follow your child to Middle School and High School. Laptop use will be limited to conducting research, creating projects, and completing class assignments. Inappropriate computer use will result in one or more of the following Verbal warning Restricted usage Loss of recess Parent Contact Office Referral

Each class has a board were homework is written daily. PLEASE check homework each night . Your child should be writing their homework in their agendas daily. If you are frustrated with your child’s homework assignments or projects, YOU ARE WORKING TOO HARD!

FIELD TRIPS The fifth grade will be going on a trip to Philadelphia in May. The cost has been $35 per student. We will be able to take 10 chaperones with us on their final elementary field trip and look forward to this day all year. If you are interested in chaperoning, please let me know as soon as possible to secure your spot on this great trip. Chaperones are also $35. You will receive further information well in advance of the trip.

How you can help **Check your child’s assignment book each night. **Write a note, email, call, meet, or Dojo message me with concerns or questions. **Talk to your child about what they did in school each day or any up coming assignments. **Check Dojo daily. *Classroom donations *Volunteer (Dojo parties, PTO parties, etc)
