Jambi in Indonesia

One of the most recommended places in Indonesia is Jambi One of the most recommended places in Indonesia is Jambi. Jambi is very interesting and you will find out why it is soon .

Terrain Sumatran tigers’ habitat is high up in the mountains - it contains swamp forest, lowland forest, tropical rain forest, evergreen forest and grasslands. Once in a while these tigers travel to other types of mountains. Sumatran tigers are often in hidden spots and they are hard to find.

rain forests Indonesian rain forests is the home to over 3000 animals including the sumatran tigers, elephants, rhinos and orangutans. Just under half of the original forests now remains trees. Trees have been cut down for paper, plywood and palm oil.

natural disaster Jambi area is more likely to have Earthquakes because of their active volcanos. Jambi has had 20 Earthquakes in the past year. In 2009 west sumatra had an Earthquake on the 30 of September and the next day on the east side of Jambi registering 7.6 on the richter scale killing over 1100 people. 115,000 houses were destroyed and 135,000 were damaged.

facts In Jambi there are 30 to 40 Sumatran Tiger they are in danger because people kill them for meat. Luckily there are 250 to 300 around the world but that’s still not much, there are 125 that are found in Kerinci Seblet Natural park.
