IEEE Region 6 – Where Else Do We Have Training? Training is one key element among others at several region meetings each year. Region 6 OpCom It’s next weekend near SFO. All Region Officers (including Section Officers) are invited and welcome Region Committee members speak and are asked to participate in both training and decision making Intended for advanced training – does include some of your new officer training, but just 1/4 of what is offered here and a smidge of the more experienced officer training. Region 6 Area Meetings Each of the areas meets at Opcom and in spring and in fall Training is not the only purpose but student officer training is almost exclusive to these Where Region Activities, Student Activities and Section Leaders Activities can come together Area meetings are only meeting that provides student officer training for all branches
