BGP community based PCE in native IP network Lu Huang, China Mobile Aijun Wang, China Telecom

Problem to be addressed This draft is for the same scenario and requirement as the draft [I-D.wang- teas-pce-native-ip] Find a way to support traffic steering in a native-ip network For TE, TS, LB, we need the BGP community information of a specific flow. We usually design several communities for one AS.

Proposed solution Use BGP community to differentiate traffics with various priority Assign a specific next-hop address for a specific BGP community Through PCE, set explicit path hop by hop for the specific next- hop address to steer the related traffic as needed Community 100:100 For IP12  IP 22 lo1 lo1 Community 100:200 For IP11  IP 21 PCE lo0 lo0 For TE, TS, LB, we need the BGP community information of a specific flow. We usually design several communities for one AS. IP12 IP22 IP11 IP21

Next Steps Welcome your comments and suggestions Request for WG adoption For TE, TS, LB, we need the BGP community information of a specific flow. We usually design several communities for one AS.

Thanks
