What is it? A free one-stop website helping 13-19 year olds in the South of England plan their future study & work 350,000+ users in 2017-18 97% of users found the site useful 100s of positive quotes “At first I was unsure on what I wanted to do after school but Careerpilot has enlightened me and helped reassure me.” “It has made me re think my options and once where I thought university was a no go, I am now looking at this.” Explain that Careerpilot is a free website used across the South of England. Helping students to find out about all of their options. Important for finding out more about jobs and courses & support when making key decisions like choosing post 16 options

Information on choices at different ages

19 job sectors, 57 sub sectors, 100s of job profiles Info on different job sectors – students can look at jobs in different sectors or look at jobs that are linked to school subjects or take the job sector quiz if they are unsure what they want to do.

This shows the animal sector and the different jobs within that sector where students can find out more detail about individual jobs

If a student registers they can save their choices and quiz results in Career Tools If students register, in the Career Tools they can build up their choices and save their quiz results. This will create a report.

Career Tools - saves the student’s research A reminder that each of the students choices and results are saved within their Career Tools (as long as they register on the site)

The Parent Zone: provides answers to questions you need to know The Parent Zone can be accessed through the Careerpilot main site (link in top bar of home page) and has answers to careers questions that parents would like to know. www.careerpilot.org.uk/parent
