TEAM!!!

Introduction We were to design a rollercoaster that moved an object from Point A to Point B in 15 seconds. The project cost roughly $35 to build, mostly due to the cost of the wood.

Coaster Design

Abusement Overview Step One: Release the golf ball onto a system of ramps. Step Two: Ramps transport ball to Plink-O board. Step Three: The ball travels through the Plink-O board until it reaches the ending plank.

Energy Conversions Golf Ball: Potential Energy and Kinetic Energy The ball starts at a height at rest and moves downward gaining speed and kinetic energy.

Construction Issues It took around five hours to build the project. The most time consuming part was constructing the Plink-O board. Meeting the time requirement was also a challenge.
