Section 6 After your Breast Test Version 3 – April 2011

How will I get my results? You will get a letter about your results It can take about 3 to 6 weeks Section 6 - Page 1

Results If your breast test was ok you will be invited to come again in three years time Section 6 - Page 2

Results The letter may say you need further tests You will be given an appointment to go back to the breast screening centre Section 6 - Page 3

Who else sees my results? Breast Test Wales will send a copy of your screening results to your doctor Section 6 - Page 4

After your breast test Be Breast Aware Know what is normal for you Look at your breasts and feel them Look out for any changes If you are worried about any changes in your breasts speak to your Doctor or Practice Nurse Attend for breast screening if you are over 50 Section 6 - Page 5
