Peripheral Nervous System SEMINAR BY : RAVINDRA PHAD TUSHAR KHADE SHUBHAM BAGAL

GENERAL INTRODUCTION Neural system of all animal is composed of highly specialised cells called neuron

sympathetic nervous system Sympathetic nerve are controlled by the posterior hypothalamus Preganglionic neuron :- short Postganglionic neurone :- long Receptor use :- noradrenaline (major) and acetylchoine (minor) Sympathetics are release in stress condition Its use in the fight and flight condition to face situation It regulate the mostly cardivascular activity

parasympathetics Parasympathetic nerve are controlled by the central & anterior hypothalamus Preganglionic neuron :- long Postganglionic neurone :- short Receptor use ;- Acetylcholine Parasympathetics are release for assimilation of food & store energy It regulate the mostly gastroinestinal activity

Neurohumoral transmission

Mechanism of neurohumoral transmisson

Thank you!!
