CYCLING Road bikes, mountain bikes, hand-powered bikes Training Usual D of E exped training Additional skills specific to the area National Standard for Cycle Training or equivalent competence 15/01/2019

DISTANCES & SPEEDS Road: 7-9mph Tracks/trails: 4-5 mph Distances Bronze: road 65 miles off-road 33miles Silver: 110 miles 55 miles Gold: 150 75 miles 15/01/2019

Horseback Training 1. Usual D of E exped training 2. Additional skills specific to the area 3. BHS Riding and Road Safety Test or Pony Club Rider Test Bear in mind your campsite will also need to accommodate the horses 15/01/2019
