DISTANCES & SPEEDS Road: 7-9mph Tracks/trails: 4-5 mph Distances Bronze: road 65 miles off-road 33miles Silver: 110 miles 55 miles Gold: 150 75 miles 15/01/2019
Horseback Training 1. Usual D of E exped training 2. Additional skills specific to the area 3. BHS Riding and Road Safety Test or Pony Club Rider Test Bear in mind your campsite will also need to accommodate the horses 15/01/2019
Horseback Distances Bronze: 15 – 20 miles Silver: 37 - 46 miles Gold: 50 – 62 miles Choose an aim which is achievable without using too much planned activity time as this will largely be taking up by journeying and care of horses 15/01/2019

Should pass through wild country and involve moving water.
