LEGEND Smiley faces are where the cheerleaders are entering for the day and the spectators are entering for the day. The “ “Kablaams” Are the areas where the cheerleaders will be exiting from the bleachers to the hallway to the mat room, then into the gymnasium, then out of the gymnasium and back to the bleachers. Fairfield will be marking off sections of the bleachers that are designated areas for teams to sit. You will be moved down the bleachers to the back door along the side to the mat room by a high school cheerleader. The HS cheerleader will escort your team from place to place, out to when it is time to perform, she will meet the girls when they get off the mat and then she will take the girls back to the bleachers and have them sit. For the older girls it is important that they move in a quick and quiet manner, since we will be sitting behind where the girls are performing. With the smaller girls I know that will be a little harder since for some of them this will all be quite new. Versus years past where we entered one door and exited from the same, they will be entering from the back right and exiting from the front right (if you are looking at the mat like you are performing; if you are a spectator then the directions would be “left”) So you can have your girls practice that.  The do not enter signs are where spectators and cheerleaders are not allowed to enter at all. They are the doors in our gymnasium that will have no admittance unless there is an emergency. There will be a WASD security guard separating the cheerleaders from the over flow spectator seating on the home side of the bleachers. The WASD security guard has been instructed to detour parents away from that area. The only people allowed in the back hallway where the locker rooms are, are the following: Quincy Volunteer Staff/Board Memebers, KYFCL Board Members, Cheerleaders, Coaches, Judges, WASD Security, Mount St. Mary’s Cheerleaders and the Waynesboro Cheerleading Squad. Everyone else will need to use the restrooms that are where the entrance to the gymnasium is located. Parents need to be instructed that the bottom/ front lot is for handicap parking only. Everyone else will have to park around back and walk around or they may park on second street and across the street and in. The only people gaining admittance from the back of the school are the cheerleaders as they will be checking in back there. There will be a WASD Security guard detouring parents around to the front of the building as well as a volunteer from Fairfield helping back there as well.
