Setting Up Your Notebook

Step 1: Page numbers First job is to give each page a number in the TOP RIGHT CORNER Start with page one and continue until you reach 50 All right side pages are odd numbers!

Step 2: Table of Contents Page one you should label as you table of contents The first lines will say: Page 1-5 Table of Contents Page 6 Notebook Guidelines Page 7 Rubric Page 8-9 Lab Safety

Step 3: First Hand Out Remove the staple and glue the pages into your notebook All you need is a line of glue on the top of the page and a little on the bottom

Step 4: Signing We have talked about the notebook, but now you need to read page 2 of your notebook Sign the bottom or ask questions

Step 5: Cover page You should now label the outside cover of your notebook You need to have your name and class clearly labeled on the cover Later you will need to find at least 2 science pictures to go on the cover

Step 6: Homework Make note of today’s homework Be sure to bring your notebook with you next class
