Wholesale: The sale of goods in large quantities, as for resale.

Retail: The sale of goods or commodities in small quantities directly to consumers

Service industries: industries that provides services like banking, education, and tourism to people rather than producing goods.

Gross domestic product (GDP): The total market value of all the goods and services produced within the borders of a nation during a specified period.

GDP per capita: Total national income (GDP) divided by total population. It is not the average income (because it includes children and non-working population) but serves as an indicator of a country's living standards.

Life expectancy: The number of years that an individual is expected to live

Literacy rate: percentage of people who can read and write
