Recruiting Process Identification Gathering information Contact key people: coaches, parents… Contact prospect: what are you looking for out of your college experience

Building the Relationship Identify key people in prospects life. What is the most effective way to communicate with the prospect and the people close to them. Earn their trust Get a commitment!

RETENTION Why does someone leave? Athletics: playing time, skill level, system. Academics: difficulty, faculty. Military environment: honor violations, discipline, structure. Relationships: peers, Corp vs. Corp squad.
