EV3 Brick Hardware Firmware is stored in Flash Memory Processor and Memory chips Firmware is stored in Flash Memory ** This internal picture is of an NXT Brick.

EV3 Flash Memory EV3 Flash Memory is 16MB in size (~ 16 min. of music) Contents can be viewed from ‘Project’ window Firmware takes up 11MB which includes: EV3 system files built-in applications (apps) sample program, sound and graphic files Deleting unused programs and files frees up space

EV3 Flash Memory Let’s take a look at the EV3 Flash Memory available to you: On your computer, in EV3-G, click the ‘File’ pull down Click ‘New Projects’.
