Reminders: Ms. Rengifo’s Class Week of October 29th English: We are reading various books and learning how to answer questions in complete sentences. Students are using the text to provide details. We are also listening to various fairy tales read aloud and listening for the elements of a fairy tale. Math: We are exploring different strategies to add and subtract numbers using 3 addends. Science: We are learning about natural disasters. We are studying volcanoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis and how natural disasters change earth’s surface. Social Studies: We are learning about different communities and characteristics of each community: rural, suburban, and urban. Religion: We are learning about the 7 sacraments and symbols. Thank you to Class Captains for providing 2-2 with delicious treats and goodie bags. In addition, thank you for the beautiful picture frames. The students enjoyed putting their frames together and creating a wonderful take home piece to be enjoyed for future Halloween pictures.
