History in Popular Culture Task When we use films to learn about the past we need to be careful as there are often inaccuracies! Task: Read through the facts below and decide whether the film represented them accurately or not. What evidence do you have to support your answer? Hitler’s father died of a heart attack during a visit to a pub. The doctor who treated Hitler’s mother for cancer was Jewish. Hitler was rejected from Art school after failing the entrance exam. Hitler loved animals especially dogs and was a vegetarian. Hitler was anti-Semitic (did not like Jewish people.)
