Unit 8 Exam Tips Feedback from the examiners The examiner says…

Just use the results for experiment 1 and 3 to calculate the mean because they are similar and fit the pattern.

Repeat experiment 2 at 30C so that you can get three similar results.

Name it

2 x 30 = 60 joules Energy Power Time

3.0 ÷ 75 = 0.04 x 108 Wave speed Frequency Wavelength

Bring your calculator to the exam! Don’t panic if you haven’t brought your own, we have put them on the desks, just make sure you use it and ask for another one if it doesn’t work.

Use a ruler to complete bar charts.

Make sure you label the axes to get full marks.

What type of correlation is on the graph? As _____________ increases what happens to _____________? How do you know? What proof do you have? What did you find out? Was the hypothesis right?

Always show your working! Always read the question twice to check you definitely know what it is asking.

GOOD LUCK FROM ALL THE SCIENCE TEACHERS AND TECHNICIANS 
