How is high school like a career ? Although you don’t get paid, high school is your job for 4 years! What would happen at your job if you missed a lot of work? What would happen at your job if you didn’t complete a project? What would happen at your job if you got in a fight? What would happen at your job if you had perfect attendance? What would happen at your job if you did an outstanding job on a project?

Indiana Core 40 8 credits in English 6 credits in Math (Alg I, Geom, Alg II) 6 credits in Science (Bio, ICP/Chem/Physics, advanced science) 6 credits in Social Studies (US History, Gov, Econ, and either W. History or W. Geography) 2 PE 1 Health 1 Careers 1 Career Pathway Project
Indiana Core 40 with Academic Honors Same as Core 40 plus: 2 Additional math credits 6-8 world language credits 2 fine arts credits All grades must be a C- or better GPA must be a B- or better Must also complete 1 of the following Complete AP courses 4 credits and AP exams Earn 1200 on SAT (CR+M) Score 26 on ACT Complete 6 dual credits Complete combination of AP courses and dual credits.
Indiana Core 40 with Technical Honors Same as Core 40 plus: Complete a career/technical program (8 credits) Earn a C- or better in courses Have a GPA of B- or better Must also: Score levels on work keys Complete dual credits (6) Complete a professional internship course or ICE Complete an industry-based work experience Earn a state approved industry recognized certification.
