XF-ACTORS – Xylella Fastidiosa Active Containment Through a multidisciplinary-Oriented Research Strategy Objectives: Development of strategies ... for the integrated management of diseases associated with X. f. to avoid further spread and dissemination of diseases to reduce economic, environmental and social problems related with outbreaks of X. fasitidiosa associated diseases XF-ACTORS is a multidisciplinary project with 29 partners from 14 countries Start in November 2017, duration four years JKI is project-partner: Focus on the biology of potential vectors of X. fastidiosa in Germany and their possible significance for the establishment of the pathogen in Germany Identificaction of xylem-feeding species in fruit crops, vineyards and related habitats Life history and population dynamics of most relevant species Spatiotemporal distribution patterns Herbaceous <> woody hosts ; Wild plant <> Cultivated plants Host association and feeding preferences of potential vectos
