To access the units settings in CAD type UNITS <Enter>

Drafting Settings To enter drafting settings type DS <Enter> or click on the drop down menu on the snap mode, and click on settings

Layers

Adding New Layers Click on layer properties Click on add new layer Double click on layer name to change

Assigning Colors to Layers Open up layer properties Click on color box Change color to correspond with layer type

Linetypes and Lineweights To change line types and weights click on layer properties, and click on Linetypes

Linetypes and Lineweights Scroll to desired linetype and double click to load.

LTScale To change the scale of the Line Type Type lts <ENTER> Enter a new value Larger the scale value the more pronounced the spacing between lines

Fillet Pick the Fillet tool from the ribbon or type f <ENTER> Right click and select radius from the shortcut menu or type r <Enter> Enter radius value For multiple fillets type m <Enter> Select the two lines that meat at a corner

Chamfer Chamfer tool is found in the Fillet ribbon, or by entering Cha <Enter> Right-click and select distance from the shortcut menu or type d <Enter> Enter chamfer distance Enter a second distance or press <Enter> for an even chamfer Type m <Enter> to perform chamfers on multiple corners Select two lines that meet at a corner
