Quality Assurance and Enhancement Team Regulations and Governance Team www.ed.ac.uk/academic-services Academic Services Quality Assurance and Enhancement Team Regulations and Governance Team Academic Services is located within the University Secretary’s Group -> Student Experience Services (headed up by the Deputy Secretary Student Experience) We have a Director, two Academic Policy Managers who head up the two teams, eight Academic Policy Officers and three administrative staff. “Quality work” can span across teams. For example, Academic Policy Officers act as TPR/PPR administrators and policy responsibility is spread across the Department.

The Team does not solely focus on “quality”. It also supports key learning and teaching activities and projects, Senate committees and the work of various Vice and Assistant Principals.

We work closely with key colleagues in College and Schools and have set up formal and informal groups and networks to support this.
