Objectives What is a file? What is file management? How to organise files?

What is a file?

File A file is an electronic document stored in a computer. A file name includes two parts: a meaningful name given by users and a file extension to show the file type.

What is file management?

File management File management is a skill to organize and classify files. Folders are used to contain files.

Activity How to organise files? 10 Minutes

Instructions Form a group of 4 students Task: Unzip the file. Design the directory and sub-directory in order to store those files. Classify those files and put it inside the Sub-directory. Discuss: How to organise those file? Justify your suggestions. Presentation
