Activity Week 2018…

Activity Week 2017 Pupil Interviews… Activity Week is special because we all find something we are good at, we all try something new. We all show courage and compassion to others because we work as a team–Year 4 Child Activity Week is the best week ever. I feel so happy to try all the new sports and activities. -Year 2 Child

Activity Week was the best week of my life Activity Week was the best week of my life. We tried so many new sports- Year 1 Child We are so fortunate that we have been able to experience so many activities that we may never have done if it wasn’t for this week. We have all been inspired to do more- Year 4 Child I have told my mommy that I want to do Zumba and exercise with her from now on- Year 1 Child

Activity Week feedback…

Data for each activity can be seen in school. It can be seen that the children’s enjoyment makes Activity Week extremely beneficial in developing a love of physical activity .

Lunchtime Intervention Clubs… I love doing extra PE at lunchtimes because it is the best and good fun! Year 1 Child - Each week we design activities that aid progression for children in the higher attaining and lower attaining brackets or each class in the school. As we focus on key physical skills in each session, such as throwing and catching and sport specific skills, the children are able to better their skills in a variety of areas. The children show enthusiasm and enjoyment throughout and develop existing and new skills.’ - Pete Alexander (Sports Coach) I feel much more confident with PE now. It is nice to do PE with children of a similar level to me because we are all learning together. -Year 3 Child

Pyramid Event blog 2018/19… week ending 12.10.18 12 October 2018 in Class 3 Blog On Wednesday morning we visited Trinity High School, where the children were shown skills in football, handball and hockey by the children there. It was a lovely morning to be out in the fresh air, enjoying the fantastic facilities on offer and playing some competitive games with other schools.

The impact of the provision we have put in to place for 2017/18 can also be seen by looking at the assessment data and at provision maps, which have not been included, due to GDPR.
