Zeus and his Origin When he was born, his father Cronus intended to swallow him as he had all of Zeus's siblings he and his brothers Poseidon and Hades divided up creation.

Zeus and his powers Zeus was the most powerful of the Greek gods and had a number of powers His winged horse Pegasus carried his lightning bolts He could also control the weather causing rain and huge storms.
