Port of Baja BAJA 2019.01.16. Bajai OKK Kft. Baja, a town with some 40.000 (fourty thousand) inhabitants is situated on the left bank of the Danube, in the south of Hungary, not more | than 40 (fourty) km-s from the southern border with Serbia. The port is a trimodal logistics centre on the Rhein-Main-Danube canal. Our port has a very good location. It is in a junction of the Southern Hungarian main roads. It is available by railway and waterway as well (and of course, by road, too). The Southern Hungarian Bridge goes through to the port too. Port of Baja – Ro-Ro Terminal (1.) As I have mentioned before, we have nine terminals. The first one is Ro-Ro terminal, where the Ro-Ro ships can discharge their goods. 2019.01.16. Bajai OKK Kft.

Port of Baja – Áti Depo Ltd. (2., 3., 7., 8.) Here you can see the container terminal. Now I cannot give you detailed description about each terminal, but on our website you can find detailed information about each company, about the services they offer. 2019.01.16. Bajai OKK Kft.

DEVELOPMENTS BASIN PORT GREEN TERMINAL 2019.01.16. Bajai OKK Kft. …and this the Port of Baja today. In the near future we plan many developments in the port, but I only would like to highlight two of them: The first one is: 1. We plan to implement the mentioned Green Terminal, which: will collect bilge water and social waste and will be able to supply ships with drinkwater and current. 2. The other important invesment is to develop a basin port and logistics centre with all infrastructure above the Danube bridge. The present 21 (twenty one) hectar territory of the State owned port is completely used. But North to the Danube-bridge there is a green-field development area, called in the picture ‘basin port’. As for our plans, in this area we will be able to offer the following services: - truck parking place - warehouses - container terminal - bulk loading terminal - other terminal with portal crane - petrol terminal - basin - industrial railway line - and all utilities. (This year we gained tender for detailed feasibility study.) With the development, we would like to enlarge our territory for investors and supply our customers with wider range of services.
