Host-Family experience

ABOUT US Wonder UK is made up of 3 entrepreneurs of Mondragon Team Academy Spain. Our job consists on managing host families , activities and attracting Spanish people to join our program. Besides that, we have Britain collaborators that they are travelling with them since they are under age. All members of the organization we have lived international experiences and have fallen in love with travelling and learning new cultures. We realized that sharing a home with English families is a really enriching experience. We think  every teenager should have the chance to live this opportunity, giving them the opportunity to spend an incredible month.

WE OFFER We want young people to have the chance of living the amazing and unforgettable experience of living 3 weeks in a different environment, in order to improve their English while they have a really good time with English families and friends.   The students that are going to be part of Wonder UK, will live  with native families who will host them for a almost a month. We believe that travelling to a foreign country is the best way to learn the language and share knowledge about each other's world. Thanks to the daily life with the English family and friends and all the activities they are going to do, their English fluency will increase considerably.

REASONS TO HOST Hosting opens up  your world, teaches you about another culture, and helps you establish new relationships. Host because you want to share your home and your world. These people are really looking forward to having an American experience, it is kind of  a dream for them, you will be the one who will make their dream come true just by letting them live your daily life. As they won’t have so much spare time, you could show them the beautiful surroundings of your towns such as beaches, mountains and so on. Every kid will have to pass through a selection to figure out their interests. Taking those results into a account we'll decide whether these teenagers are able to spend a month in a foreign country and if our guys will get along well with you in the stay. You will teach them things no one else could teach because each family is unique and they will be so grateful for letting them grow as a person. All the host-families are going to get some money to support the student and the expenses.

TIME-TABLE Teenagers are going to spend almost the whole month with host families but it is also true that once or twice a  week each student with their host family will have the opportunity to meet Spanish teenagers. Other families will do some activities such as going to the beach, waterparks, journey and so on. Its optional to come to these activities because maybe some families already have their own plans for the student. All the plans that we will organize will be Advertised to the host-families with time. The family would need to treat the student as their own child, so every activity or themes of work the family has to do would need to think in the student.

SAFETY Our students are going to have their own medical insurance just if something happens so they could go to the hospital without any trouble. If something We will let the travelers know all the laws that they will be applied and aware them of the consequences of inappropriate behavior. They will have to sign a contract agreeing on all the rules established by us.

LEADERS Wonder UK leaders will also travel to the UK, so they will be available almost 24 hours for the students and the families for any doubt or emergency. As far as emergencies are concerned, both students and parents will have an English number which will be everyday on duty. To make sure that the kids feel comfortable with the families we will be in touch with them and ensure that everything is going great.
