Deaf Awareness Project The purpose of the Deaf Awareness Project is to draw attention to deaf people, their culture, accomplishments and their issues.

Deaf Awareness Week Sept 22-29th NYOS RALLY- Sept 13th spreading awareness. Hanging up posters in Hallways to spread the awareness

Iconic Sign Art Requirements 11 x 17” minimum size Use color Should be visible from about 15 feet away Name/class on back English translation on front SignWriting translation on front Hands are pictured (may print out / trace) Motion is shown (arrows) A picture is used to describe your iconic sign The sign chosen must be truly iconic
