How do we use the web?

The Sad Facts… 39% of parents of 10-23 year olds claim to have Parental controls. 23% of 10 – 23 year olds agree that parents have controls. 70% of teens hide their online behaviour. 60% of teenagers have been asked to send sexual images of themselves 44% of teens say that sexts are commonly shared. 44% of boys have seen sexualised images of girls in their school.

What Can I Do? Install apps that will monitor your child's online behaviour. Childlines app to help counter sexting invites in way that diffuses a situation Roleplay situations with your child – help them to understand social interactions that may lead to risky behaviour Develop family patterns of use for mobile devices and a family ICT policy.
