Proposed Scope for Tgac Ad Hoc Groups Month Year doc.: IEEE 802.11-yy/xxxxr0 Proposed Scope for Tgac Ad Hoc Groups Date: 2009-11-16 John Doe, Some Company

Context and Introduction During the September meeting TG ac decided to create 4 Ad Hoc Groups Initial scope of Ad Hoc groups: Updates to framework document (doc. 992r2) This document contains the proposed allocation of discussion topics to each of the 4 ad hoc groups The expectation is that new topics can be added to the scope of ad hocs after Taskgroup approval Taskgroup to assign the topic to the most appropriate Ad Hoc based on the subject matter of the topic

Initial Ad Hoc Group Deliverables: Group roles and decision process* (Ad Hoc Group Internal deliverable) Recommended updates to the Spec Framework Document (Deliverable to TGac)** * Selection Procedure document (09-0059r4) recommends 2/3 majority decision making ** There is a separate submission (09-1181r1) regarding subsequent Ad Hoc Group deliverables such as detailed specifications

Month Year doc.: IEEE 802.11-yy/xxxxr0 Motion Move to approve the set of deliverables contained in slide 2 and the topic allocation to Ad Hoc groups as listed in slide 3, with the understanding that new topics can only by assigned to ad hoc groups by the Taskgroup Yes No Abstain John Doe, Some Company
