Intro to Trig Functions Unit 5 Day 1

Sine, Cosine and Tangent Trigonometry The relationship between sides and angles of triangles. Types of questions that can be answered using trig… Given an angle and one side, find an additional side Given two sides, find measure of an angle within the triangle. Sine, Cosine and Tangent

Labeling Right Triangles Opposite, Adjacent, and Hypotenuse

GOAL: TO BE ABLE TO CORRECTLY IDENTIFY SIDES OF RIGHT TRIANGLES!!  Outside Activity Split up into groups of 3 Decide who is Partner 1, Partner 2, and Partner 3. You will follow all directions on the paper to complete the assignment. When you are finished you will stand along the lockers in the middle of the locker bay until I say that time is up. GOAL: TO BE ABLE TO CORRECTLY IDENTIFY SIDES OF RIGHT TRIANGLES!! 

In order to use trig functions in the calculator you MUST have your calculator in DEGREE MODE!!! 
