Be sure that the content is developed accessible to all. 2

Release your content under a free license, like Creative Commons 3

4 Publish your books in EPUB or HTML format to ensure that the books can be imported into the GDL platform.

Check your content against the GDL quality assurance (QA) standards 5 Check your content against the GDL quality assurance (QA) standards

6 Add basic metadata to your books, this will make it easy for others to find your resources.

The content is provided as files and metadata according to the GDL metadata and accessibility guidelines.

2. The content is imported into staging.digitallibrary.io

3. Final check of content on staging against Quality Assurance Standards for Global Digital Library (GDL) content.

4. The organisation responsible for QA will sign of on the content batch and fill the form confirming that the content is compliant to GDL QA standards.

5. Content will be imported on to the GDL platform.

6. Last QA of content after import to production.
