What more could be done to help you/your work area to create an environment of wellness? February 2006 – 1 contact hour – “Walk the Talk and get the Results you Want” – Jim Kendall – Identify examples of principles that reduce ambiguity of how to act/conduct business; Examples of value statement development & how it defines behavior; Illustrate how leadership can model principles of “Walking the Walk” April 2006 – “SG 2005” – An overview of 2005 and what is needed for future sessions.

Shared Governance UserGroup Sessions July 2006 – 1 contact hour - “Avoiding Burnout” – Barbara Brown - Share the experience of nursing in the Medical Center and initial reflections; Provide an understanding of personal motivators and evaluate changing responses; Reflect on how the changing roles of nursing have been affected and the impact on individuals. August 2006 – 1 contact hour – “Alternative Strategies w/ SG Unit/Clinic Board Operations” – Panel October 2006 – 1 contact hour – “Social Styles” – Toney Cole – The Social Styles workshop allows us to explore the four major behavior styles, identify our own, recognize the styles of others and explore when to ‘flex’ in support of meaningful relationships.
