What HR at the MOA does Recruiting people to work for Mall of America      What HR at the MOA does Recruiting people to work for Mall of America Here to help with payroll Where you get your paychecks (Yusss) Employee wellness and safety managing Help with any questions you have

What’s so great about working at Human Resources? I get to work in a place where everyone is friendly- except Michael I handle paychecks, which is just as great as handling a bunch of strangers money The work I do actually matters There’s always something to do whether it be a new project, or just helping co-workers out I get to meet new people when I’m helping them The people I work with are awesome

Working for HR I hardly spoke a word I mostly filled - My First year working for HR I hardly spoke a word I mostly filled Got to know my supervisor and co-workers My Second year working for HR I talk more and joke around I do more tasks than just filing Built great relationships with my co- workers

My Supervisor… ....Last year was Jen Swanson! She helped me settle in Showed me my tasks as a freshman Is friendly & kind to me ….This year it’s Rachel Landry! Showed me my tasks as a sophomore Real funny and friendly Helps me understand things I don’t know well Helping me grow as a worker

My Coworkers Sam L– she’s a coordinator and super friendly Michael Z- does employee wellness with Jen and is super annoying (just kidding Michael) Deb H- works with payroll and is just a great human being Mark C- also works with payroll and is another great human being Ashley S- she’s a recruiter and is a hilarious person Brooke W- another recruiter and is the human version of the social butterfly Jordan J- another recruiter and has a fridge where we keep a lot of food at (thank you) Erin S- she’s a guest experience program manager and she dances amazing (I've seen you practice in the hallway) Nate D- he’s an analyst and hard worker Kristen R-L- she’s an associate and is super fun to be around Jo N- a coordinator and has a cheerful attitude Nikki B- an employment services supervisor and has a great personality Jordan B-works with Kirsten, is an associate and is a hilarious person Terri F- she’s a manager and has two adorable children Melissa C- she’s another manager and is super friendly Sue A- she’s a HR director and makes Michael calm down whenever she’s around (thanks by the way) Jen S- former supervisor and a enthusiastic unicorn Daniel M- he’s a team member coordinator and has that really awesome mustache Sasenka C- she’s a sourcing recruiter and re-joined HR recently (Yay!)

What I do in HR Alphabetize paychecks Finger-scan new hires I work every Thursday (sometimes Fridays) I file (A lot) Alphabetize paychecks Finger-scan new hires Answer phone calls Help out with questions at the front desk Direct you to whoever you need to see Handle the Make Someone Happy Today cards Order supplies for HR Other various tasks that Rachel gives me

My Experience at HR… …As a worker I’ve gotten better with working with people and being able to answer their questions My social skills have improved a lot I don’t need to rely on coworkers as much as I used to ..As a person I’m treated with respect They joke around with me and I can joke around with them They’re kind to me and are understanding people

My Goals ..Right now I hope to be able to master the art of social skills Being able to answer questions without having to get help from coworkers Master skills needed in the workforce …In a few years Go to college and get my degree Get a job as a therapist, lawyer or an archeologist (I’m still deciding) Be an activist for LGBTQ rights

Thank You! Thank you for.. Teaching me work skills Helping me gain confidence Making me feel comfortable Treating me with respect and kindness
