New Perception Surveys Staff, Parents, & Students (4-12th)

2016-2017 District Improvement Plan (DIP) Goals- Core subjects with state proficiency targets (pgs. 4A-E) Strategies- Broad categories that are well researched, connect to building/district data, & support K-12th improvement goals. Activities- Support strategies to improve teaching and learning for all students in all buildings (SIPs). Connect to prominent research (e.g., the 5D+ coaching model). Designate responsible parties. Apply for (or locate) funding sources. Monitor progress on goals, analyze, & revise.

2016-2017 District Improvement Plan (DIP) Today’s TLC’s Task Purpose: To Recommend High-Priority, DIP Activities and Any Associated Professional Development for Next School Year

2016-2017 District Improvement Plan (DIP) TLC’s Steps (30 minutes): Form content area groups with a similar number of TLC members in each. Review your content area’s DRAFT DIP Goal, Strategies, & Activities. Use the additional form to highlight the group’s top 5 priority items in the Activities section (on far right). If one (or more) of your top 5 Activities is not listed, please add it (them) to the additional form and highlight. Near the bottom of the form, add recommendations for additional PD topics or more specific suggestions (e.g., RAISE training in ms & hs). Be prepared to share your thoughts with the whole group. Please leave your group’s form with Lynn.

New Actions for May 26 Be prepared to discuss: Most recent growth & achievement data from our buildings. Correlation between newest data and 2016-17 SIPs/DIP. Task Force Information from 2015-16 New/Similar Task Force “Tasks” in 2016-17 Other?
