May 2001 doc.: IEEE 802.11-01/283 May 2001 Motion The IEEE P802.11 5GSG will produce as its final output, a set of recommended practices designed to enable HiperLAN2 to achieve a degree of interworking with IEEE 802.11a, and a recommendation to ETSI-BRAN to do the same for IEEE 802.11a interworking with HiperLAN2. Recommended practices is defined as rules to be applied when and if compatibility is desired, but are not required The required degree of interworking is to be determined by the 5GSG.
