The Purpose of the Law: To reveal we are sinners and unable to save ourselves (Rom. 3:20). Symbolism of the Covenants 5 Mount Zion (Heb. 12:22-24): Symbolizes the New Covenant and Jerusalem. Christ is the Mediator of the New Covenant. The Old and New Testaments: The New is in the Old concealed. The Old is in the New revealed.

The Judgments of God 5 Those who reject Christ will face a greater judgment. Future: Christ will return to deliver His people and to judge wickedness (Matt. 24:21-22).
