Abstract

Numerical model of debris flow Continuity equation

Numerical model of debris flow 2. 2-D equations of motion

Numerical model of debris flow 3. Rheological model

Numerical model of debris flow

Parametric study of yield stress and viscosity in rheological model

Parametric study of yield stress and viscosity in rheological model

Micro-geomorphic analysis of the Chui-Sue River watershed

Debris flow simulation of the Chui-Sue River watershed

Debris flow simulation of the Chui-Sue River watershed

Debris flow simulation of the Chui-Sue River watershed

Conclusions Parameters for the yield and viscous stresses have significant effects on the simulation results. Adjustment of rheological parameters should take into account the properties of debris. The numerical model could provide reasonably good results.
