All About Language Arts Various print and media texts from different genres that relate to the theme of the literature unit: Q1: Childhood Q2: Modern Technology Q3: Exploration Q4: Animal Allies & Imagination Language arts skills (theme, plot)

All About Language Arts Grammar and usage Writing in a variety of formats and purposes -Q1 & 4: Narrative & Explanatory -Q2 & 3: Argumentative Speaking and Listening skills strengthened through formal and informal means Independent reading Quarterly book reports

Core Enrichment 4th Period (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday) Graded as pass/fail. Purpose is to enrich/enhance all core curriculum areas. We rotate teachers daily: Monday - report to your 1st period teacher Tuesday - report to your 3rd period teacher Thursday - report to your 5th period teacher Friday - report to your 7th period teacher

Grading 80% - Assessments 20% - Homework/Practice (Quizzes, Tests, Projects) 20% - Homework/Practice (Classwork, Homework, Participation) Grades will be updated promptly and can be viewed in StudentVue and ParentVue. It is important that grades are checked regularly. This is the most immediate form of communication of student progress. A = 90-100% B = 80-89% C = 70-79% D = 60-69% F = 0 – 59%

Tax Credits! $400 per couple or $200 per individual Any Arizona tax payer can take advantage of this and support their local school. Donate directly to the Enterprise Team! Forms available in the front office.
