What is a audience An audience is where media producers break a mass audience down into different groups, sections and subsections so that they can be identified, targeted and catered for. This is where the name is given demographics. On the other hand, is means a group of spectators at a public event; listeners or viewers collectively to where they go to a theater, concert or another gathering.

What is a target audience A target audience is a certain group of people at which a product such as a film or advertisement is aimed. Another meaning is where manufactures research on different things to find out what things seem to interest the audience they want to target. This is where they use demographics to divided different audiences and match up which things go to which group.

Teenagers/young people +16 – 18 Teenagers and Young Adults seem to be the audience many markets seem to target. This audience is known to enjoy watching soap operas and know every detail of their favorite celebrity. They will know most about their favorite celebrity then the celebrity knows about themselves. They would listen to modern day music which sees to attach they to all the new beats and tunes. For girls/women the media seem to target them with new brands of make-up or clothes. This is where it interest the young female population. For boys/men the media seem to target them with new gargets and gear which they can create and make things.

Young Adult +19 – 25 Many companies target this range of people to promote them to purchase certain items that they advertise. For women: companies try to promote women to go online and but many female products. This is showing for women to buy certain perfume for them to be empower over men and show who is the boss. For men: many ads now are showing these very handsome looking celebrity men with spraying cologne on them. This is showing that with this particular cologne that any man can get their idol woman.
