Use these instructions to help you investigate animals using PebbleGo Using PebbleGo.com Use these instructions to help you investigate animals using PebbleGo

Step one: Click on the PebbleGo Animals database Getting Started Step one: Click on the PebbleGo Animals database

Finding your animal Step two: You will be given 12 different choices for finding your animal. The choices are represented in words and pictures to help make sure you understand the words you are choosing. Choose the category that best matches your animal.

Step three: Refining your search Once you have made your initial choice, another menu will come up to help you narrow your search. Choose the best category for your animal.

Step four: Once you have found your animal Click on the tabs on the bottom of the page to learn about the animal’s food, habitat, life cycle and even some fun facts that you may not have known before! You can even hear what the animals sound like by clicking on the “Listen” icon!

Remember… PebbbleGo will read all of the text on the page for you. If you come to a word you don’t know- or aren’t sure of-just click on the triangle in the top left of the screen and have it read to you.

Are you researching? Are you learning about your animal for a research project? If so- PebbleGo can help. If you would like to cite the source of the information you obtained on PebbleGo, just look for the “Cite this article” icon. You can also print out any of the articles you find-to go back to later. Just look for the “Print this Article” icon.

More Fun! After you have learned all about your animal you may want to watch them in their natural habitats. Click the “watch” button and you will see fun videos of your animal.

Wanna Play? After you have read about your animal test your knowledge by playing one of the fun games. Just click on the “Games” icon.

Need more help? If you have any questions-please feel free to ask Ms. Mullins.
