URBAN AUDIT Data available in October 2003 berthold.feldmann@cec.eu.int

Structure of my talk Obligations Available in UA-2 db Conclusion City level LUZ level SCD level Conclusion

What should have been sent…. Already available data (type A -all) Estimated key variables (type B –key) Until Xmas: estimated standard variables (type B –standard)

City and LUZ data sent to GHK (in the correct data format)

Sub-city district data sent to GHK (in the correct data format)

What was sent (number of variables available per city)

The same information, more aggregated…

And now per thematic field…

What do we mean by « Period » ? Preference: t, t+1, t-1, t+2, t-2

…and the availability per domain

Finally, sorted by success

Sub-city districts (4437 SCD identified) Success rate

Condensed by thematic field

Conclusion Completeness of dataset varies a lot between cities / countries For 143 cities we have at least 150 variables (but of course not the same …) Environment, transport and IT are, as expected, the weak areas of data availability For sub-city districts, although there are only 33 variables to supply, the success rate is considerably lower

Thanks for listening ! Any Questions ?
