Classroom Newsletter October 5th, 2018 Mrs. Morrison, Rm. 5 Classroom Newsletter October 5th, 2018 Dates to Remember 10/8 – Animal Home homework due. Classroom News Wish List: Chalk Pens What a great week! I was at GLAD training Monday through Thursday. This training is Guided Language Acquisition Development training. It really supports first graders because it gives you strategies that support visual learning and helps with more engaging practices. We have already tried some strategies and the kids love it! While I was gone, the kids had a substitute teacher. I heard nothing but great reports about how the kids welcomed her, treated her with kindness and followed directions. She said we are such a sweet and kind class. When I came back I made sure to give them 25 marbles. It was great to come back and end the week with the kids. I was happy to see them! We were able to meet our 4th grade buddies and do an activity! We also switched rooms for Fun Friday! This we I did not have my sub send home folders. I hope you all have a great weekend!
